Perfect Plant Perfect Place

You might like this book, but it isn't a must-have.

This is a book of brightly illustrated short plant profiles. They have all the important cultural facts and are neatly organized into useful plant lists.

Lists for perennials with fragrance, spikey leaves, alkaline soil, acid soil, moist soil, climbers to train into trees, shrubs for heavy clay soil, and a slew of other topic headings for every garden situation.

A wide range of plants is included, many are too tender or otherwise unsuitable for Ohio. Nevertheless, it is a helpful book to own, because many are plants which can be grown in our area and there aren’t many books dedicated to lists of plants categorized this way.(Although there has been a long tradition of such lists appended to the end of garden books).
